a comedy about death
Rabbi Horowitz – David Boyle · Aunt Phyllis – Sue KelvinDenise – Leah Marks · Yitzy – Daniel Lipton · Cooper – Shai Forester
Fifty-five seats, every one close. £25. The box office is on this page.
How much do you owe a man you never really knew? One son gave him fourteen years. The other paid for all of it, from three thousand miles away, and did not come. Their sister has thoughts about both, and she is not going to keep them to herself.
The rabbi has never met the deceased. The eulogy has the wrong name in it. The grave is the wrong size, and nobody has noticed yet.
Bring a handkerchief. You probably will not need it.

It is only around the corner.
You are not watching a funeral. You are at one.
They will thank you for coming. Someone will apologise for the rabbi. Someone else will ask whether you are seeing anybody. In a room of fifty-five there is no back row, and nowhere to look but up.
What sort of comedy is it? The sort where you laugh, and then hear yourself laughing.

Choose a night and the box office opens here. £25, every seat.

The right fit. Just not the right hole.
A theatre with its own private entrance — not a room above a pub. Private, secure bathrooms.
West End-quality sound and lighting, at salon scale. Fifty-five seats, every one close.
Hampstead Station, on the Northern Line, is all but next door.
Within 500 metres, free after 6pm and all day Sunday — 133 of them under four minutes’ walk.
Controlled air-conditioning, set for the room whatever November is doing outside.
No photography or filming, please, and phones on silent once the lights go down.
